Hawks Netball Club Leicester are looking to expand our numbers and continue the fantastic growth we've experienced over the past 3years. Following on from the Commonwealth Games and the Netball World Cup, even more women and girls have taken up netball - which is now the No. 1 female team sport in the UK.
With both mental and physical health benefits, not to mention fun and friendship, why not join us and start playing?
We are currently looking to recruit new players in the following areas:

YOUTH
1) Juniors
We want to recruit girls aged 11- 15 years old for a BRAND NEW squad to play in the local Leicester league and occasional local tournaments and festivals. No experience necessary - we're looking to provide a fun and friendly atmosphere for girls who want to either hone their skills, or build new skills having played a bit of netball at school. The ethos for this squad will very much be about playing and having fun - and all abilities are welcome.

2) Bee Netball
Girls and boys aged 5 - 11 (School years 1- 6) are welcome to join us for Bee Netball - England's early years netball programme. We have delivered a few of these sessions pre-COVID but are looking for new players to register their interest to expand the group. Once we have recruited our new Youth Coach, these sessions will commence again and all players' parents will be contacted with the details of times/days.

SENIORS
3) Experience Seniors - Premiership / Regional level netballers wanted
Hawks are a club that advocates netball for all abilities, whether you are a 'Back to netballer' having not played since school, or whether you know your way around a netball court having played for years, we will offer a safe, secure and friendly welcome for you. With 5 teams in our local league - we offer the chance to play netball at multiple levels/divisions.
Having expanded and gained promotion to the Premiership Division in Leicester, we are now looking to continue to develop our higher-level netballers, and hope to begin the journey to become a Regional level netball club. We are therefore looking for experienced netballers who want a higher level of netball. Whether you are new to the area, have just finished a youth club/academy placement, or want to move netball clubs to gain more netball, we want to talk to you!
