The pandemic slowed us down, but we are excited to announce that we can finally launch our new youth netball squads via two age-specific sessions for the following:

Girls aged 11+
Girls about to finish primary (current Year 6) to girls up to 15/16 (Year 10) are invited to try us out at four fortnightly open sessions over June & July:

16th June
30th June
14th July
28th July

All sessions are on Wednesdays from 6.30 - 7.30pm at Soar Valley College Netball Centre

Based on interest/demand we'll move to either fortnightly or weekly sessions for this group, and hope to introduce the opportunity to play in matches at Leicester Youth League, which is held at Soar Valley College on thursday evenings from September.
There will be no commitment required, just turn up and try us out! The four week package will be £20 with girls completing all 4 sessions getting a personalised Hawks training T-shirt! Alternatively you can pay £5 per session.

Over 16 and want to give us a try? Senior netball tends to start at 16, so we would encourage older girls to come along to our senior sessions which happen weekly at New College. Where possible we'll create teams where girls play with players similar in age to themselves until they can be integrated with our 5 adult teams.

Bee Netball - for children aged 5-11
Bee Netball is an England Netball programme designed to encourage younger girls and boys to build ball handling skills and develop coordination and agility through games and drills that are fun and inclusive. These sessions build so that they that skills learnt lead onto the basics for primary-level netball competition and games. They are a great way to start little netballers on their netball journey!
For any children in school Years 1 - 6, we will offer fortnightly sessions starting on Sunday 27th June at Soar Valley College Netball Centre. Sessions will be 2pm - 3:15pm and will be priced at £5 per session.

Parents are welcome to stay and watch, there is limited seating inside the netball centre.
