?✨ We are thrilled to welcome some local Leicester City secondary schools and PE teachers to our Community Schools Programme launch this evening, with our mini Schools Tournament.
Hawks are on a mission to live up to our constitution and break down barriers to netball, and make netball accessible to all, particularly those within our local community. As part of our ambitious '20 Community events for our 20th Anniversary' pledge, our flagship programme hopes to empower 10 talented girls through a year-long funded netball journey with our Community Sponsorship Programme.

22nd November
We'll host a mini tournament for select local city schools to come along and play, aswell as experience a little netball magic with the chance to meet some special guests: England Netball players Vicki Oyesola and Emma Thacker! With some fun warm ups, match play, selfie meet and greet opportunity and some competitions and prizes, we're set to have a great evening.

About the Programme
This initiative covers the costs for 10 deserving girls to participate in netball activities with Hawks Netball Club for an entire year. From specialist coaching to league matches, tournaments, and more, this is a chance for them to shine and grow.

Why This Matters
We believe in fostering talent and passion for netball and opening up opportunities that may be less available to some groups of our community. We want city secondary school PE teachers/netball coaches to help us identify those who would benefit most from this incredible opportunity.

How to Nominate
PE teachers, we invite you to nominate girls who embody the spirit of netball and could thrive in our community sponsorship programme. Your support is invaluable in making a positive impact on these young athletes.
