Hawks leads donation drive this January

All senior Hawks teams are organising a Donation Drive this January, in order to collate toiletries, unwanted smellies and unused Christmas gift sets to take to Leicestershire's Women's Aid refuge centre. Unused sanitary items, new beauty or hair accessories can also be donated.
Teams playing in all three local leagues (North West Leicester, Loughborough Town and Leicester leagues) will all have donation boxes out on match days for any of our netball community to donate to.
Hawks players and family can all donate via training sessions also - the boxes with the attached image on them will be at both Junior and Senior sessions each week this month.
"As part of our 20 community events promise, we're really pleased to offer a time-appropriate event at the beginning of the year. Many of us receive gifts and toiletries we don't want or have space for over the festive period, but many women in need have nothing. We're hoping to be able to donate some much needed items to Women's Aid by the end of January", said club chairperson, Sarah Cottrell.
Look out for boxes, or contact Jade Hughes or Sarah Cottrell for more information.
